Male hydraulic couplers for the TD95D?

I am. On all my implements. I know JD fittings don't fit. My neighbor came and borrowed my baler once and left his fittings on. I wasn't happy in the middle of the night when I couldn't connect it.

Just a follow up to on this issue. I went to our local tractor repair shop and talked to the owner. He said he didn't think it should make any difference what tip I used. Then he looked up the tractor in his Parker/Pioneer parts book and asked for the tractor model. The book said that the TD95D should use the poppet type male connectors. He didn't have them in stock in the 1/2" size but he ordered them for me. I picked them up today and they are definitely different. I will post a side by side picture in the next few days. I just installed them on my bale spinner but I haven't tried them yet. I'll do that before I post the pictures and hopefully close out this issue.

I'd like to thank all the folks who responded to my request for info regarding male couplers for the NH TD95D.
Here's what I found. Our local repair shop told me their parker/Pioneer manual specified poppet type tips for the TD95D and I ordered them ($8.30 each). The thumbnail below shows a comparison between the ball fitting and the poppet tip fitting. Besides be slightly shorter, the poppet fitting has a slightly larger groove nearest the threaded end of the fitting.(This goes along with what Jbrink64 indicated in his response). The retention ring appears to located at the same distance from the tip in both cases and the poppet tip sticks out a little further (0.02" per the spec dwg). Notice that the net shape of the poppet tip coupler is different from the ball tip.

I installed them on the bale spinner and it works.

So my conclusion is that the poppet tips are required on the TD95D with the factory couplers.
This closes out this issue as far as I am concerned. i will inform my local NH dealer.
