Hi,

I'm in the process of purchasing my next tractor, 3520 w/300cx. The dealer priced a set of skid steer forks which is incorrect because I dont want QA plates. That being said, after seeing the weight of the skidsteer forks, over 450 Lbs, I was wondering:

What are the lightest forks that will work with a 300cx capacity?

I made some out of 3 inch Channel that slip on over my bucket, works good enough to move cement around and way about 40 pounds

I think my Deere forks weigh about the same as the bucket. The regular attach and not the skid steer QA. I sure wouldn't want to be with my forks. Use them as much or more than the bucket. Adapted these for use on the iMatch as well with some additional fabrication.

The JD forks that are made for the 300cx are part number AP13F. They come in 42 inch or 48 inch long rails, and have a weight of 360 or 375 Lbs. respectively. The load rating is 3750, which is above the loading lifting limits. They connect to the 300cx loader with no modification, just take the 2 pins off and switch it out.

Also if you want fixed rail pallet forks the part number is AP12F. Same specs. except 20 pounds heavier.

Fixed rail (AP12F) $972.00
Floating rail (AP13F) $1078.00

Kennyd has it right:

These: Artillian Pallet Forks for John Deere Tractor Loaders

Much lighter which means the additional weight saved goes to more lift capacity.

We have the Artillian pallet forks for the 2305 and 2520. Works well on either tractor, takes a little time to get used too. Well worth the money!

Hi,

My only concern with the Artillian forks is that is no "fence" or backstop to help keep a load on the pallet from sliding to the rear onto the tractor. Do they make a fence kit for them?

you would want to talk to Chris on that. I have a place i can get some steele and fab my own fence or guard. On vaca in two weeks and that will be one of the first projects. For the most part Chris has done ALL of the foot work on the frame and the forks.... the rest is up to each individual to fab to each persons needs.... his set up is right around 220# and fabbing a guard wouldnt be more than 45# maybe??? For your 3 series it would be nothing to lift.:thumbsup::thumbsup:
