Yes, I bet Pillar figured out one big reason. One other thing the dealer said that didn't click until now is that he was trying to outdo the other JD dealer in our area on CUT's in order to keep his own CUT franchise. He said the other dealer lost his Ag (large) tractor franchise for not selling enough of them. That leaves my dealer with the only Ag franchise in the area. So I bet he's worried that JD may be looking at cutting a CUT franchise in this area and my dealer doesn't want to be the one to lose. He'd like to be the areas only large and small tractor dealer. He said that JD will take a franchises away from dealers if they don't meet certain sales goals especially if there are other dealers in the area doing better. It's all about customer support. If you can't make sales targets that also means you can't provide good support for that product line. This may also explain his agressiveness in selling a new tractor. Thanks for all the kind words. If anyone really wants to get in on one of the $750 deals just PM me and I'll tell you who to call. The saleman asked me if I knew anyone interested. It's got to be a 2520 that is 3 years old or less and in mint condition.
