Well, it's time to buy some tools for the machine so I can put her to work. I plan to buy a set of pallet forks, a box blade, a boom pole, and a toothbar. Should get me started moving mulch, grading my driveway, smoothing out the yard, and moving logs in the woods. Any recommendations on width of bb? Should I plan to cover the tracks and go with a 66" over a 60"? All will come from Everything Attachments.

Sort of depends on your terrain. If you are going to have filled tires or not. No filled tires and hills = 5 footer in my book. Filled tires= 66 incher. I have a Mahindra 3215HST and I have a 66" roll-over box blade for it. I have some hills and my tractor will scrape and pull an over flowing load up hill. I feel that you should be able to pull a full load in what ever your worst requirements would be.

Just my opinion, others will vary. ;)

I have a box blade on a 225, and a 60" covers the tracks. I think by about an inch on each side. You should have the power and weight to pull a 66" but I would not pay much more for it.

Here we go:laughing: I just went through this just months ago. I went with a 66" BushHog RO like the one pictured in MtnViewRanch's avatar and a 5' Woods 500lb BB which I am selling I just like the 66" too much more has 2-3" over each side with no problem pulling material I have black clay in TX (I do not have filled tire either)If it starts to lose traction I just bring it up an little also I get to change ripping to grading by pulling a lever. The 60" is good but I think IMHO you can use the 66" you have 5hp more than me.

Just Remember Weight and a substantial side/back plate,*cross tube,3pt is your friend with the BB
Good luck in your purchase and enjoy
