Good Afternoon Guys,

Scotty, Enjoy, you earned it!!! ...always loved your signature line from Thingy.

Thanks Dan !

Don't believe in that "Retirement/ Leisure"
syndrome some folks talk about.:D

Egon I forgot to tell all you guys about my wifes job jar ! :(

One question, trying to get a visual here -

"so here it is a rainy tuesday mornin in the northeast, and yes Im still in my PJs, drinking coffee on the computer..."

Are you actually sitting on the computer whilst you sip your coffee?
Or perhaps slurpping the spilt coffee off of the laptop?
Nevermind about the PJ's. TMI. :)

Yes, sitting on the computer slurpin coffee ! ;)

I've got 25 years of 5, 6, or 7 days a week under my belt now, and probably another 20 to go.
Enjoy your time any way you want to Scotty, you earned it.

Thanks, yep many 6 day weeks that forgot to mention ! ;)

Not even 60? You're to young to retire Scotty !

I'm gonna look you up some time when I'm up your way in VT, picking up my roof slate. See if you're really as nice in person as you are here on TBN :D

PS. yeah, we have not had to many nice days this spring, not gonna see the sun this week, but I guess that can't compare to the nightmare going on in the Mississippi delta.

JB.

Hey JB,
Yes any time you know that, come stimulate our local slate institutions ! ;)

BTW, actually Im nicer, you will get cold beer if you decide to visit, a heads up , the red necks up here drink Coors Light, along with other things ! :)

Before I ?retired? I worked a job that I never new from one day to the next if I'd be in or outsude for the day. If it was broke we fixed it no matter what the weather was. Now I lay there in bed when it's real bad outside and wounder if the men I left at work are haveing to be outside in it with rain and cold running down their neck. WOUNDER! No! not for long :) cause I drift back off to sleep, all snug and cozey in my stocking cap!

Yep many a day with rain running down my back also ! :(

Good for you Scotty! You are giving retirees a bad name - posting at 8:55am that you are still in your PJ's

Dave.

Hi Dave, sorry about givin you guys a bad name, Im onto the first fob on the honey do list ! ;)

Good to see you, Scotty, it either been long time or I don't read enough of TBN lately.

Good luck with your barn.

Thanks Prokop !

Reads like your day is gonna be alot gooder than mine Scotty... enjoy it ..

Thanks keegs !

Scotty, all I have to say is CONGRATULATIONS! You'll figure out what to do with the rest of your time; you don't need advice from me. Besides, now that I'm retired, I don't have time to give advice.;)

Scotty, you out lasted me... I quit working at 52, good decision? Don't know yet, but it is nice to not have to be in the rat race anymore. 56 now and free to travel. Navy retirement and VA disability helps pay the bills and my much younger wife has a great job at the new hospital 2 miles away.

Congratulation on your retirement, Scottie  Don'y aorry about the too young crack, they are just jealous :D The hardest part of retirement is picking the correct pace, since you no longer have to spend so many hours at work.
