Buying Advice Are rear remotes standard on the DK40 and DK45?

My DK40SE came with one remote standard . I have just bought the kit from my dealer for the second remote (I have not installed yet) . My dealer charged me 349.00 for the kit . I am hoping to add a tnt for bb work this fall .

good to know the price of the kit. i looked at my invoice for the tractor and was only charged $450 for the additional remote. im glad i had them do it. cant beat $100 FOR ALL THE LABOR. Im truly a lazy guy hehe

woh, thats less than the part cost? weird.

anyways, i had my dealer add the 2nd rear remote and run a set of lines up to the loader to work the snowblade off of the rear remote. total was way less then just the 3rd valve, and alot more practical.

I installed the second set of rear remotes on my DK40se and it was not difficult to do. The kit from Kioti is complete and includes instructions. Removing the seat was likelly the hardest part as it is heavy. Remove a cover from the first rear remote valve, install longer studs, stack new valve next to existing valve, run hard lines to rear, install new linkage and your done. No need to remove tire as described in instruction. Kit was $400 canadian, eh.

I still have the second remote kit for the DK45 in a box. I got it on Ebay for $35 a year or so ago. The directions are pretty good, but it's not a simple job. On the cab model you have to take off the RR wheel, take out the seat and the tool box. I started to do it, but decided to hold off when I figured it would take me half a day.
