If clay has a version of quicksand I think you discoverd it. I didn't realize you were that deep into the muck when I posted. Glad you made it out! You get my vote for pic of the month.

Last spring with my tractor have been delivered the week before, I got impatient to "play" on my Bobcat. I get her about half that stuck 60 feet off of my driveway in a water swail I was wanting to clean out.

Well to make a long story short, I was able to work her within about 3o feet of my driveway using the FEL to help pull myself ahead until she finally dropped down to the axles. My neighbor came walking up about that time, asked if he could help, so I went n got the GMC and a tow strap, 4 wheel low and him on my new Bobcat, and she was out in 2 minutes.

I thought I had a "really stuck" tractor, but you put mine predicament to shame, you are lucky you got her out even that easily!

Next time you're stuck, if you have the bucket on put it in the full dump position, then lift the front of the tractor with the loader and curl the bucket up at the same time. It'll shove the tractor back and help the rear wheels pull you out.

It might not have worked for you in the muck, but it might have.

Lol, i thought i was the only person who had this happen to them last week... I got it twice though in two seperate spots far from each other... The first time was the worst, i had only my loader on and was pushing over a couple saplings and after the third pass it was time to retreat...too late! I tried to work free using the bucket but my land is 1-2 feet of peat on top of clay... My 335 looked like yours (sunk to the floor boards). After a quick trip to the neighbour to get him in his 90hp kubota, a quick tug by the drawbar and i was free... The bucket doesn't always work and trying can get you in a worse situation... But most times its worth a shot.

Two days later i was moving a metal cabinet behind my garage across the grass...just as i was settting it down, splash! The front end ripped through the grass, this time i immediatley slammed the bucket down and tilted it to prop up the front end, but i knew not to try to drive out... We grabbed cinder blocks and 2x4's for under the front wheels and plywood forbehind the rears with some 2x12's for ramps for the fronts... With the locker engaged and some smooh throttle she crawled back and as soon as she was on level ground it was full tilt until i hit the driveway... God I love owning a tractor!

Hopefully this helps anyone next time they are stuck... Next time i'll take pics!

That's why I always keep my bucket on. You could have used your bucket to get you out of that crisis.

I'm sure you used quite a few adjectives during your ordeal. I'm sure I would have. Glad to see you got it out without any damage. :)

Similar predicament here. Had to haul in a Deere 700lgp dozer to pull it out. Both front tires sucked off the rims.
