- Kubota L3540
Here goes my first post. I was bush hogging with my L3540 last night. I ran over some brances from some trees that had been cut down. One wedged under the tractor on the left side almost under my left foot. The tractor stalled out. I dis-engaged the pto and the tractor would not start. My neighbor and I cleared out the branch (3-4 inches in diamater). The tractor still would not start. The pto light is on on the dash. Battery cables were removed and put back, a couple of blown fuses were found and replaced. I got an N20 erroer and saw and error 84 at one point. My dealer was closed and not open yet so I called one on the west coast. They told me to check the wires/switch coming from the pto lever which appear fine. I see no damage to the tractor anywhere. There is a strange clicking sound if the pto shaft is rotated in either direction. The manual indicated to contact the dealer and there may be an ecu issue. Has anyone had this problem? Any ideas. I bought this tractor in Janauary of 09 and have only 36 hours on it (just got the farm my wife and I have been looking for). It appears the warranty may have been only 2 years so I am worried. I should also let you guys now there was nothing in the bush hog itself. Just the branch under the tractor. It appear the tractor thinks the pto is engaged and won't allow me to start it.
