AmsOil Tractor Hydraulic Fluid?

Is anyone using the AMSOIL Synthetic Tractor Hydraulic/Transmission Oil (ATH) in their Kubota?

My local kubota Dealer do not carry the Kubota fluids. They are also a Ford/ New Holland Dealer and they had Ama-Gard (spelling?) on the shelves and said that is what they put into them when they service them. I can get the AMSOIL at dealer cost so that is not an issue.:thumbsup:

Anybody know how the AMSOIL compares to the new SUDT-2 that I am hearing about on here?

I am a big Amsoil fan, they make really good stuff, but I will probably stick with Kubota SUDT. I've never compared prices, but I doubt the Amsoil cost much, if any more because SUDT isn't cheap, but I don't know how it compares as far as running well in a Kubota.

I don't think much of a Kubota Dealer who
doesn't stock SUDT !

The Amsoil is a 5w/30 , SUDT 5w/20 and JD Hygard 10w/30
Any of these are fine . I use the JD . Just don't go with a 20w UTTO.

As much as I also sell the NH oil your dealer would be wise to use the Kubota oil. I also use Amsoil in some equipment but on some applications the oil life will actually be hindered more from condensation then from the hours or time. So why pay more for oil when the actual life is often shortened from moisture below the recommended change period.

Here in NY I recommend checks at the end of two years and normally that is when it gets changed no matter what the hours are.
