Suggestion for Contents in On-tractor Toolbox

So, I cleaned out the little "toolbox" on the tractor the other day. I found that it was full of "junk". What do you put in your on-tractor toolbox? I appreciate any suggestions.

1. Space blanket.
2. Water decontamination kit.
3. Pistol with two sealed tins of ammo.
4. 3 days of emergence rations.
5. Field Guide for identification and use of native fauna and flora.

Road Atlas....WTF is that? Everybody I know except me has a GPS, and the reason I don't have one is because everybody tells me WHERE to go and HOW to get there....:laughing:

Just buy a cooler with a built in GPS, I love dual purpose gadgets....

Oh my, I love the way this post went... I used Google images for so many of the items you all listed but my favorite was looking for pictures of a BX25... CTF, in scuba diving we call that a mobile yard sale!

I do see how each and every item listed is useful "in the right hands". I also like Dusty's reasoning, the farm is small enough I can walk in 15 min to the tractor shed, long enough to cool off if I need a tool a bigger tool I don't have. But I will be putting my tool box together next week, with most of your suggestions, sorry CTF most of yours will be in the shed.

What I did learn is that: 4 golf balls, 2 chainsaw chains, a fork for eating, multiple broken pins, tin snips, 3 pair of scissors and countless empty cigarette packages does not make a tool box that stocked usefully. I love cleaning up the messes from the last person. Interestingly enough I "found" the tool box replacing the seat.:thumbsup:
