Hi

I have a cub 5264d that has to go, I was almost sure that I was buying a Kubota 2920, until I bought a bush hog from a guy with a ck20,,, now I am looking at the CK 27 and love it other than the fact that it weighs over 3000 lbs and is almost 20" longer ( a perfect farm tractor)

I use it for yard work and working my mini farm ,,2 acres

What do you think,,, pricing is relatively similar,, more importantly is that I need 20+ PTO hp

Sounds like you're ready to pull the trigger on a CK-27:thumbsup:
All I know is I've been happy with my Kioti's. They are solidly built and take whatever I can find to dish out, (see attachment list with my signature). I'm working on 25 acres of woods, rocks, streams, ponds etc.
Let us know what you decide.:)

Count me a happy owner. 5 years and no problems. One of the reasons I chose Kioti is because of the weight. Tractors are about traction. I have never wanted more HP but I have occasionally not been able to use everything I have available because 3 wheels are spinning. The lighter tractor I was considering would have made it worse.

I to had my sights set on a Kabota that was until I got in the seat of one of these. I loved the CK27 but Somehow talked myself into the DK40 with cab. Has anybody seen the new cabs for the CK machines?

You won't be unhappy with the extra weight. The heavier machine usually does less damage. Both will leave depressions but the lighter machine will tear up the ground when it slips.

I've had my CK30hst for six years now and no problems. I'm glad the weight is there to hold the tires down. If I have my bh on and want to cut dirt down with the fel bucket, just put it in low range and go. Even then I can spin the tires in certain situations.

I loved the DK40 also but didn't want to spend the extra. Mine has done all that I ask of it. The 40 w/cab would just let me get done a little faster and not be snow covered when plowing the white stuff. I could add a cab but that would take all the fun out of it.
