Here's some pics for ya guys were subsoiling this site so they can use the material for the final lift on the front slopes of the cell. Also because almost no grubbing has been done. Very sandy/rocky conditions so they need all the overburden to be mixed with the woody material so they have a usable "top soil" to plant.

Great results. I've considered a fecon soil hog before. What kind of production are you getting with it in the conditions like the picture?

Should be able to do a acre or two in a 10 hour shift, this is multiple passes though like 5. The subsoilers don't leave a very nice product kinda like a iron wolf. But they grind everything. They're great for grubbing. Its a by the hour kinda thing, conditions greatly affect production.

Yeah I really like the lamtracs, they are simple, easy to work on when needed and can climb like nothing else out there. I have the subsoiler on now but also have a 300S for the pt. I mainly use the 300S on it though. I'm buying 5 more machines next week three of them PT's, 2 400's 1 300 a 400 Bron and a GT 18. Gonna be a busy winter :) My Lamtracs are older ones I would love to buy new ones but if it aint broke don't fix it.

I sold the Tigercat to a guy who had a Timber pro with a Rolly chipper on it I think. With the Forestry biz in the dumper I imagine you can find a few good deals out there now.

Not too many of the Timberpro 810/830s out there. Here in the North east there is a huge (couple year) powerline job being done by multiple companies and any used units have been purchased to move/lay mats. If you see any out your way let me know. I found a few but not the right one yet.
