3-Point Hitch Hydraulink Top Link

So here's a question that I have not run across before. If I am going to add the Pat's quick attach, which extend out the mounting points a couple of inches, would I use the current Cat 1 Hydraulink or the forth coming one specifically for BXs?

They just started offering a screw end for the tractor side of the Hydraulink which provides up to 4" of additional length. Hopefully, the BX version will have the same option. But it remains to be seen what the min and max lengths will be for the SCUT version.

I should have this information soon... a week or two. However, if you have a SCUT with a quick hitch of some kind, you should take a serious look at the category I unit with sleeves for the connections. That should give you all the reach you'll need. Just a thought...

Thanks for all the comments, guys. I didn't realize what's available wouldn't fit my BX. Guess I'll be waiting a bit before I decide to purchase.

We just got our new prototype in for the SCUT tractors... TBN-ers are the first ones to get a look at it. Sorry the picture quality isn't as good as usual. We're going to put it to the test soon.

Quick followup to my question about which Hydraulink to use on a BX with the Pat's Easy Change. Spoke with Pat's this morning when I placed my PEC order and they said that the standard Cat 1 Hydraulink is the one to use on a BX with the PEC hitch.

Should have my order by Monday and will report back how it all works together.

Interesting. So if I get the SCUT version for my BX, I won't be able to use the PATs easy hitch. No real plans to buy a PATs now, but I guess that's something to be aware of when/if I buy a SCUT Hydraulink. Of course if they offer the optional 4" screw for the tractor side, maybe it wouldn't matter. I guess I need more info on the Hydraulink SCUT version.

We don't have pricing yet but I'd have to guess it will be between $20 and $30 less than the cat 1 version.

Extended screws for the cat 0 have not been discussed. Obviously thought, if the demand arises, we'll make one. We are getting measurements now for the SCUT version. I hope to have them for you in a little while.

I just posted my current BX top link measurements over in the attachments forum per your request but I'm sure your monitoring that thread.
