Howdy, seems of the three 165 i know of all three have only one working and one broke off. Was this a "weak link" in the system. Is there a left and right, these are bolted to the axle under where the fender mounts???
Gonna try to attach pics????

Weak link? Not hardly. Where they got snapped off was most likely when someone tried using ONE stabilizer in a situation where there should have been TWO in use. (one each side)

I have my dads old Ferguson F40 (early 1957) and my uncles MF50 (late 1957) out behind the barn. BOTH had the original cast style brackets, and neither have broken. They served faithfully for more than 50 years. I'd suggest the newer style that are made from 3" X 3" angle iron. You'll find them (among other places) at TSC. Those are the type I have on my 150.

Thanks Farmwithjunk, i'll see what they have @ TSC. Were these the same point that the loaders attached to? Seems if i cleaned off the drill press i could fab something with angle-iron. Again, Thank You!

I've seen several loaders on Massey's that attached at the same points. They did NOT use those brackets as mounting points though. (Used 2 bolts through fender brackets)

The angle iron brackets would be a piece of cake to fabricate yourself. I'd slot the 2 holes where the fender bolts pass through to allow some adjustment. Pins would mount in line with lower link mounting points.

If you need a photo, let me know.
