I'm not close to my tractor now so I can't just step out and measure it but....

the forks are made with the same tubing that the stake pockets are made from. So, if a piece of 2x4 lumber fits just inside it, the tubing is probably a little bit less than 2 1/2" x 4 1/2" on the outside dimensions.

Thanks for the measurement. I am trying to get under a hot tub but only have a 1 3/4" gap at best.

If the hot tub is empty, you'll have no problems, it will raise right up(they aren't that heavy). I worked at a place where we plumbed them, then loaded by hand a took to the job site.

As a matter of fact, this brings back a memory.

We delivered a hot tub to a house, the guy looks at the guy I was with and says..............I've got a 4 foot sliding door, how ya gonna fit that 8 foot hot tub in there?.......

My buddy was speechless..........had no clue what to say.

The guy then asked me(cause I was snickering)........

I said........when we rounded the corner with the pick-up,...............I noticed hinges on the wall, if it were me..............I would just swing the walls open.

He had 2 ..........11 foot walls on hinges.......a 22 foot opening for an 8 foot hot tub:laughing::laughing::laughing:

Mine is sitting on a concrete slab and and needs centered up between a couple new poles that support the new roof over the tub. I drained the tub and 3 of us still couldn't get it to move. This one has jets in the center bottom coming from a sphere that must hold water. My other tub, you could at least scoot it around but not this one.
Funny thing is, I just had a guy move our lofted cabin and now the tub needs moved. Between the both of them, I could had bought the forks for what I will pay to have things moved.
