What is the largest ranch in the USA

I am currently working in Australia. There are many "stations" (ranches) way over 1000000 ac. I think they call 300,000 ac small operation. The biggest is Anna Creek station with 5,900,000 ac.
There was a sheep station with 599 000 ha (1,480,155 ac) sold recently for 12 million. That is about 8.10 AUS/ac or about 8.20 USD/ac. Beat that.

Vermejo Park Ranch is 590,823 ac, the Amendaris Ranch is 358,643 ac, both in New Mexico & both are owned by Ted Turner. There goes Texas trying to get credit again..

Oh, Shan lyn......don't mess with Texas.
Just say'in.

Well from my perspective it's "Foggy Bottom Ranch", located just outside of Cottageville, SC. Has almost .00002 million acres under sweet gum production! :D

Ranch, large farm devoted chiefly to raising and breeding cattle, horses, sheep, and goats. The cattle ranch was introduced from Latin America to Texas.

Due to the def. and history of the word ranch all are in Texas, anything outside of Texas is a farm. So King Ranch is winner, you other guys who live outside Texas don't own ranches, or just wish you did so you call your place one. Sorry, just so you know. Oh, if you are outside Texas and you handle cattle, your a cattleman, if your inside Texas or from Texas your a cowboy.

Are there many ranches out there that will run as many as 4,500 pair? I'd love to find one or two for sale. Seriously. preferably not realtors.
