I'll try to answer your question, it's just my opinion based on a gear head car nut, collector car guy. Tractors are like cars, both collector and classic. What you own is who you are to a point. Japanese tractors come from a place Americans and others all over the world respect and enjoy and their tractors have a history and pedigree. People enjoy looking at talking about them, many have Japanese cars in the driveway. That covers the Japanese tractors. Korea is up and coming, in all respects, electronics from there have left Sony in the dust. Everyone loves the cool appliances from Korea. The place has a reputation for quality and getting it right. Slaying the big guys, watch out here we come with quality type mentality. That covers the Korean tractors. That leaves the American stuff, very cool, unbeatable crop row stuff, fantastic history and classic stuff. That covers the Americans. Now who is really puffed up about a tractor from India. There are no Indian cars, just nothing to hang your hat on, hence, no one online.

People on this forum tend to knock Mahindra dealers. I get far better service from the local Mahindra dealer than I do at the local JD dealer. I own both brands. I have two Mahindra dealers within 15 minutes and only one Kubota dealer who also sells Mahidras. I guess it just depends on where you live.

I kind of suspect that they are a well made tractor with nothing to ***** about. Most owners are out doing something with them. Dang now I sound like one of those people that think the glass is half full of water.

In other words, nobody knows. In regard to Mahindra making good reliable tractors resulting in less need for Mahindra owners to post, I went to the Kioti forum to do a little research. The percentage of Kioti owners whose motivation for writing because of some problem was nearly the same as in the Mahindra forum in the last three pages. Granted, this was not a controlled scientific study but, it should give a pretty fair indication. If there were a greater percentage of Kioti owners having problems, you would expect a greater percentage of posts seeking advice on how to solve them.

The most probable answer, as someone else has suggested, is that Mahindra hasn't got the market penetration in the U.S. or English speaking countries as other makes that have been in the U.S. market no longer or even less time than Mahindra. The Indian market is huge and with Mahindra's market share in that area, they are going to be one of the largest tractor producers in the world just from that. In other words, Kioti, for example, has probably sold as many or more tractors in the U.S. market as Mahindra. It makes me wonder why.

Maybe it is that Mahindra is often described, at least until the introduction of some of their recent models, as being a solid but basic no frills tractor at a great price. Maybe the bells and whistles are what sell tractors in the U.S. market. In making this guess I am only comparing Mahindra to other makes that have been in the U.S. market as long or for less time than Mahindra. Of course, it could be for any number of other reasons. But it is a curiosity.

I view "Todays Posts". This includes all forums, but doesnt show me as on the Mahindra forum per se. ... Maybe many Mahindra owners do that.

Wow, that was a low blow...can you define "cheap" I hope that you are referring to cost of the tractor

What I have seen on the Mahindra forum is the size of the tractor that creates the most posts. There appears to be fewer or seldom issues from the UT's compared to the CUT's or the SCUT's.
