I didn't stress it too much with my 25hp Kioti.. :)
They're almost 1700 new, plus shipping, so I think it's a fair price.

Is it for a tractor or skidsteer? It looks like it's very heavy.

Trust me... look at the metal thickness of the tines. It's not that heavy - built for a 25-40hp tractor - IMO.

The root grapple that I have for my JD110 is HEAVY! Just over 900lbs. I used it a couple of times on a rental, T250 Bobcat. Stalled the Bobcat; midstride, a few times before I got the hang of it.

The OP's grapple will be a good buy for somebody, though.

Very good condition - not abused - from all appearances. Very good price! New price is likely in the $2K range.

One of two things will likely happen... experienced tractor owner will see it - and buy it right away - or - experienced tractor owner will see it; and try to take you to the "woodshed"!

Sell to the 1st guy... the other guy should go to the "outhouse"! :D

Once I'm done in the outhouse, I'll make an offer.:D

It's for a bobcat, or a toolcat, and not a small one either.

No phone calls yet.. but I sold a used oil tank in that spot a couple months ago for $450, so it's not the spot's fault. :)

Jake, the responses you have in this thread should tell you that you have a very attractive deal going on that grapple. The right buyer will come along and it will sell so fast it will make your head spin. If you were half the distance, I'd buy it and pay the shipping or come and get it. My old diesel pickup would enjoy the road trip. It's that good of a deal.

What the heck am I missing here?? Just got a price of $1149 for a simple one cyl. bolt on bucket grapple.. all the sudden I'm glad nobody drove off down the road with the one I have for sale. I thought they were around $350. :confused2:

I just checked with Unlimited Fabrication (rootgrapple.com) and I could get their whole 60" light duty root grapple for less than $100 more.. I left them a message to see if they were interested in trade-ins..

Another edit: I just had a 'duh' moment.. guess I'll look into taking one of the dual 'clampers' off the grapple and making a mount for it on my bucket.
