Instead of a platform carryall, I cobbled some scrap into a fork assembly for my Quick Hitch.
It moves pallets of lumber and bricks, pallets built up into mulch cribs, and I often carry this 4x6 platform made from a pallet.

I too have forks. I just slid on a pallet and can haul just about whatever my tractor will lift. I have moved all sorts of stuff, garden tractors, my small tiller, my big tiller, logs, rocks, tools, implements. Very useful tool. I do wish it worked better hauling the trash can down to the bottom of the driveway though.

A dirt scoop is doable as I did make one based on the pictures that I had seen on TBN and on the net, but that was becasue I could not find one here and still cannot find them here. However in the States I would think that it would be cheaper to locate one on ebay, or Craig's list. It is not so difficult and even easier if you had one to look at and get some measurements from.:thumbsup: links to mine is in the signature below.
Neat that is a great job on your carry all. I actually did as California and made some forks for the 3pt that I can use to carry pallets with stuff around.
