Hydraulic extension hose- Guys I need your experience and expertise. My TC34DA return hookup is in a HOOORible place behind the right rear tire and very difficult to reach ! I need to purchase an extension for it. How do I determine if it is a 1/2 or 3/4 quick connect. It says Parker on it but cannot find any markings to determine marking. I have a Braco Hoe that attaches but the connector only says Parker. can you tell me how to measure the connector ? thanks in advance

There is a number on that fitting. Just remove one and take it with you for correct match up. The size of the hose is usually stamped on the hose.

If the line that you need to extend is not very long, or hard to access, you might consider repalcing it with a new hose that is longer and avoid an the extra fittings used by adding an extension. A much better solution at possibly the same cost as the extenson hose and fittings. Most Hyd. hose assy shops will make exactly what you need if you bring in your existing hose and explain what you want for addl. legnth. (Many NAPA's can do this for you)

Great advice. Take the old hose to a shop and have a longer one made.

Thanks guys. Great advice. I think I am going to take off the male end for the hose that is on the tractor attched via a double male to a 90 turn and replace the double male with 24" hose put the original male on the hose and screw hose into the 90 essentially replacing the double male with a double male hose. I saw one at tractor supply for 12.00 cheap enough. and then zip tie it up out of way.. Qestion is do I need to bleed the Hydraulic system when I do that somehow.. Sorry I have not done much with Hydraulic systems. Electric is my gig.

After a couple of cycles, the air will purge itself.
