Yup I saw that last night. the guy deserved it, The mountain stage fans seem to be extra fanatic/crazy but I think that's part of the allure of it. for the most part there is no problems but there is always a A-hole or 2. I'll bet the other dedicated fans gave him a little justice on the side.
You have your heart up in your chest worrying about what would happen if a fan interfered with a top rider, how they would handle it if he lost time??
They were talking about a million people coming out to see that one stage a few years ago, those people are really into their bikes. One thing I noticed is they seem to cheer on everyone equally, no special treatment of the French riders.
I'd love to drive that route on a motorcycle or open car.

Well it's over, I just saw the final stage last night, I had it recorded but didn't get a chance to watch it Sunday.
Of course I knew Evans won the tour from the time trials, But I wish I didn't see in the paper who won the stage Sunday. It was an exciting finish.
Sad it's finished, it's like when the Olympics are over, you get use to having something interesting to watch every night.
