FORD 555A LOADER HOE
just purchased a Ford 555A loader hoe and don't have a list of the oils and lubricants needed. Does anyone know what type of oil to use in the tranny, rear end and engine?
thanks!

also for the power steering

Use 15W-40 engine oil rated CI-4 or higher in the engine.
Use a heavy-duty antifreeze with DCA/SCA additives to prevent corrosion and cavitation erosion of the engine's cylinder walls.
Use New Holland 134D hydraulic oil or other oil meeting that specification in the transmission, rear axle, hydraulic system, and power steering.

thank you very much for your help.

do you know if there are any online or paper service manuals available for the FORD 555A that don't cost megabucks?

No. the OEM operator's manual will give you a lot more info than you have now. Service manuals go into great detail on repairs, but offer little to nothing relating to basic maintenence.
