I just got a deal off craigslist last night. I bought a 1955 WD45 Allis Chalmers tractor that is in pretty darn good condition, and runs good. Along with that tractor I got a 3 year old Buhler C2560 5' Tiller, a 2 year old KK 5' box blade, and a 6' KK scraper blade. A 6' 3pt disc and an older 2 bottom plow. I paid $2900.00 for everything.

Ok, fixed it. These aren't the best pics, but it was pretty dark out this morning, and it was dark when we got home last night. I'll take some more pictures later. I haven't picked up the disk yet, but have everything else on the trailer.

The guy that sold it to me put a tube in there, and put the tire back on backwards. Didn't realize it until he was done. Doesn't bother me, I'm selling the tractor to my father-in-law, and keeping everything else. I was really after the tiller. The seller wanted $1200 for the tiller since he had just bought a new drive shaft w. slip clutch, so I just bought everything he had for $2900.

It was a rookie Craigslist mistake on his part. It was posted for almost a month before I came across it. He didn't put tractor or Allis Chalmers anywhere in the entire add, so people that were specifically searching tractor, never saw it. Just so happens I was searching for "tiller" and it came up. I'm thinking he would have sold it on day one if listed properly.

Some folks will do that so they have one tire to grip well in reverse and one in foward. At least i have heard some say that.
