How bout that Dodge!!

My buddy has a 3/4 08 and is on his 3rd. He is almost always bumper towing with his though, no 5th wheel.

That shouldnt make any difference to the tranny should it?

Man that is discouraging. What were the reasons for failure?

I'm not. Obviously you aren't as old as I am. I remember Fiat trying to establish a dealer network in this country in the 60's. The cars rusted on the showroom floor and if you bought one and it broke (and they did), you needed a huge wallet.

It was careful planning by Marchonni to get Chrysler and an established network in this country to pander his junk.

I would never buy a Chrysler. I know what's under the sheetmetal and the non-existent quality control firsthand. Look at my signature and where I live. That should tell you I know what "I'm blowing" about.....:D

So what is Tony up to? Does he have to Fix It Again?

Please dont tell my truck about the quality; it is 10 years old, 145k miles, and has been pretty flawless.

There is a good one every once in a while. Sort of like Democrats.

...And every car Fiat builds today is built exactly like they were in the 60's? By that reasoning, every car built in Detroit is also built exactly like they were in the 60's. That comment just makes no sense.

I've owned cars from Fiat, Ford, Chrysler, GM, Honda and Isuzu. None of them are perfect, as they are all made by people who have good days and bad days. I'm well aware of Fiat's reputation, but they have managed to stay in production this long because they seem to be making something people still want. In fact, the Fiat was probably the most fun I've ever had on the road.

Big deal. I live in Minnesota. That doesn't mean I eat lutefisk and play hockey.

Reason for failure was playing on a drag strip. 1st run on 110 hp tune worked fine. Second run on 150 hp tune, the tranny did not like. I have been told that the allison needs to learn your driving habits and will handle the hp up to about 150 hp. Going to have built tranny installed on Tue.
