L39 Blown Hydraulic Oil Cooler Line

I went to do some brush hogging for the first time today...found hydraulic oil POURING from the grill area after about 10 mins. I guess this is the first time in quite a few hours I was running 3k rpm for any length of time. I found a pin hole in one of the hydraulic cooler lines. It appears to be a 1/2" line that is a 90 bend with about 4" on each side. Looks like I am going to be calling a few dealers tomorrow

Called the Kubota dealers. This hose is $50!

I went to the auto parts store and grabbed 1' of power steering line, some new hose clamps, and one of these:
Gates Unicoil

Total cost: $14. Wish me luck!

Yeah, something like that. Honestly, I wasn't looking at the tach, I was setting based on the electronic display for 540rpm.

Either way, I had never run the machine in my ownership at that RPM for an extended period of time. Generally I use the FEL and drive around with the pedal. When I have used the hoe, I kept the rpms as low as possible since I am not that good with the controls yet.

Improvised fix: FAIL

1/2" hose is just too small to get on. Tried heat, tried mechanical stretching, no go.

5/8" is going to be way too big. Gonna have to suck it up and just get the Kubota hose for $55.
