I regularly take the 52 LB loader off of my tl 90 while putting up hay in the summer.

Anyway, I went to put the loader back on the tractor to unload a shed from a trailer. My problem is when I went to plug the loader hoses back into my couplers, I couldn't get the nipple on the male end of the hose to retract.

I have had this issue before but not like the other day. Usually if there is a little bit of pressure on the lines I can push the male end of the hose on a flat part of the loader frame and it will release the pressure on the line letting me plug them into the couplers. Not the case this time.

Every hose (4) on the loader had so much pressure that I could not get the nipple to budge even when pressing on the nipple with a lot of force.

Can I just get two wrenches and open the fittings a little to release the pressure?

The loader was parked and the pressure was released when I dis-mounted it this spring. I usually shut off the tractor and move the joystick in all directions to ensure this. When I hook it back up, I also shut off the tractor so as not to have any pressure in the couplers when plugging the lines back in. It has been extremely hot here recently, could the hot oil have built up some pressure while sitting this long?

Yes, just loosen the connections a bit and keep a rag handy to catch the outflow.

The problem with your loader is certainly heat. With the quick connects being a checkvalve, any fluid expansion builds up tremendous pressure inside the hoses. Direct sunlight will heat those black hoses even when it is not very hot. With temperatures in the 90s or above, I've seen hoses straighten themselves out from extreme internal pressure. The only way I know to prevent the problem, is to loosen one of the quick connects for dump/curl and one for raise/lower. That will keep the pressure relieved. If you want a quicker method, get two female quick connect fittings and just put them on one male of each function. Some fluid will seep out as they heat up, but no backpressure will develop. If seeping oil is a problem, bag them with a Ziploc bag and use a rubber band to hold it in place.
