:confused2:anyone ever use any of this stuff in your engine-supposed to clean, lubricate,clean carbs, etc-even preach on sunday at the service. did it live up to your expectations and do all the wonderful things it's supposed to. It's 8
bucks a pint here so fill me in on your experiences. thanks

I use it in my outboard once each spring mixed with the gas, don't know how much it helps but I haven't had any problems either.:confused:

I have used it for a couple years to treat my old 2 stokes and small engines. No miracles to report, just engines that still run well.
My end of season routine is to drain the tanks down to the last litre. Add a healthy splash of Seafoam. Run the engine for 5 mins and then park it. At the start of the next season I add a few litres of fresh fuel, more Seafoam and run the engine for 20 mins.
I used to bring back a can or two on my US trips, but now Wallyword stocks it up here.

Im a believer in it.. poured it into a string trimmer thru the spark plug hole andn let it sit over night.. Fired on the first pull the next day.. Normally starting it is a 30min ordeal..

I am also a fond believer in Seafoam as an addiditive for fuel tanks as the ethanol now in our gasoline destroys rubber parts and reduces power.

Seafoam does wonders for internal combustion engines and I have been using it for several years in all my machinery.

:thumbsup::cool:

Used in an ATV that was running rough, tank later it ran perfect..... Seemed to have helped

I bought a JD GX345 recently that only had 188 hours on it. It ran terribly, surging up and down endlessly and when throttled down would just stall out. I had a half can of seafoam left and put it into a full tank of gas and the Deere did run slightly better. I then went and bought a fresh can and poured it directly into the carburetor in several small pours a little at a time while it was running at full throttle. Lots of smoke later I throttled it down and the surging had stopped and it started idling at a purr like a kitten! I didn't know the power of this stuff!! I wish I had video taped it before and after because the different was absolutely profound!! I will always add a few ounces to each new gas can of fuel. Seeing is believing!! Seafoam for life!

This thread had me going to the garage shelf where my various fluids live and getting down a can of Seafoam that had been sitting there since last summer. 1/3 into my 455 and 2/3 into my wife's 1976 Corvette, which see's very little use. Took the Corvette out for a spin and I swear it had less hesitation and more pickup. Obviously, Seafoam works wonders on the imagination as well :laughing:
