I Just got back from my Kubota dealer here in central Massachusetts, Ahearn Equipment. After discussing the pros and cons of front and rear units, and the fact that I already have the quick hitch for the Kubota snow plow, I decided to go the the BX2750D front plow. I also needed the PTO shaft to go with it. The price for both items was $2700.00

Next weekend, Massachusetts has a state tax free weekend, so they are holding the sale until 8/13. SO I didn't have to pay state sales tax. I decided to finance it with Kubota credit, and unfortunately they ahave a $100 documentation fee, and that stinks. $2000 or $20,000 it's still $100.00. But my 3% credit union rate worked out to be just about the same, so I decided to go with Kubota Credit.

My dealer unfortunately had no units to see as they've been sold out since last winter. My salesman said that RAD, the maker of the Kubota snow thrower runs full tilt supplying the demand, and they frequently have delays once the season gets underway. ALso included in the price was free delivery.

My plan is to utilize both the plow and snow thrower this winter and I hope that the changeover to each unit is an easy process. I'd like to hear from anyone that utilizes the quick hitch to both plow and snow throw.

Those are great guys over at ahearn equipment. I went to high school with the owners. I like that it's been family run since the beginning.
I ordered my grapple through them and had them fill my tires with rimguard. They charged me right around 4 dollars a gallon I think. My closest dealer was just over $7 a gallon.

I've been thinking of getting a blower for the winter too, maybe I should check more into that! Congrats on your purchase!

Me too--I ordered my snowblower July 18. I'm driving my wife and neighbours crazy because I keep mentioning that I hope we get lots of snow this winter. :)
