difference between 609 and MX6 cutters

I do not need something that has the ability to cut 4" .But no dealers around me have one so I can only go by the spec sheet.Just was wondering what $2k more money is buying me.I have been running an early 50's Ford 5' brush hog which has servrd me well and have been using it for 27 yrs.I just want to get a 6' or 7' mower to cut down my mowing times.

Really... I know of alot of moose hunters that will drive over 4" trees all day long with their 4-wheelers!

If I had to haul away all of the trees that are 2nd or 3rd regrowth - well... it would cost a fortune in both time and money!

Push 'em down and chew 'em up! Close to the ground to do away with as many "staubs" as possible.

Notice I said my customers with small properties, town lots and such. I get paid to use the dump trailer for this anyway. That money you speak of is part of my income.

In your case the MX 6 may be the better choice, it works for me at any rate.

Yep... I understand that not everywhere is the same and not everyone has the same kinds of parameters that they have to work within..!

Subdivision covenants, zoning, construction and building regulations and all that "civilized stuff"!!

Still gotta get the job done - dig 'em up - and haul 'em away!
