...and the catapult that is going to help it take off again.

"This is your captain speaking. We're cleared for take off. Please fasten your seat belts and prepare to black out."
Iplayfarmer,
No catapult needed. Oscar will fly it off when pigs fly.:laughing::laughing:
hugs, Brandi

Oscar is doing good and much more active with the cooler temps. He's back to following me around when I go for my walks, and chasing the Mule when I go for a drive. During the heat of summer, he was sleeping away most of the day, or moving from one shady spot to another.

He keeps growing as my facebook celebrity. I had two jobs that I went to yesterday that called me to look at their projects because they saw my pics of Oscar on facebook, and thought that anybody with a pet pig like Oscar is who they wanted to hire to work on their house. While at the second house, the lady called a friend over to meet me and introduced me as Oscar's Daddy. That lady is also looking to add on to her house, but not for awhile yet. Say what you want, but he's proven to be a VERY GOOD chick magnet, and something to remember me by for work. I don't advertise and haven't in 7 or 8 years. Facebook has been the best thing ever for sharing what I do so clients and future clients can look at my pics and feel comfortable in hiring me. Oscar gives them something to talk about other then work, and build that friendship with me before we get started on their project. He's just been a win-win in every possible way!!!!

Glad to hear that Oscar is doing well and earning his keep. Even though it is in a way that you would not have thought possible when you first took him in. I guess it is just good karma coming thru. I hope you guys get some rain so that Oscar can get clean again after playing in the mud. How much has the water level dropped in your lake with the drought this year? Take good care of the celebrity! :)

Cheers :drink:

The blond, the brunette, you're killing me, Eddie.

I think it's wonderful. I ought to at least get a puppy or something.

PS: To avoid a long story, never trust a hog around an electrical wire, and don't assume just because you touched the cord to your wet bare hands, that it will not kill a hog instantly if it is taken into his mouth.

Allot Greener there than I thought it would be, is that your food plot?

Oscar is likely easier to up keep and cheaper than some alternatives too:thumbsup:

That's my front lawn. I water it a few times over the summer, but haven't in a month. There are areas on my dam where the grass is a foot thick and as green as you could want it, and other areas where it's all dead and bare earth.
