I've been using the 5' Box Blade for about a week now. I removed the backhoe, which was MUCH easier than I thought (it looks like it'll be easy to re-install also...).

This box blade is a dirt-moving/ dirt leveling/ ditch making machine. I'm really glad I bought it.

I scraped out and leveled some very hard-packed dirt inside a large RV carport, moving the dirt to level the ground in front of it. Fun.

I've started leveling out my 3 acre pasture, a bit at a time. It had lots of ups & downs. I'll just do a section at a time, so I can replant pasture mix as I go.

I've dug out a very nice gentle curving ditch, through the pasture, that flows water 3 months out of the year. It should help to dry out the soil in the spring.

I watched videos on YouTube about using the box blade, and got a few tips there.

Now, about that post-hole digger, on sale at Del's feed...

P.S.: I also have used the "bolt-on" pallet forks a LOT since I've bought them.

I use them to scoop up piles of brush, to dump onto a burn-pile. They also carry lengths of firewood to a central location. I've carried lots of misc items.

They aren't for picking up a pallet of blocks with, but I use them for many day-to-day things.

I plan to use them to bring sheets of plywood up to a small roofing job I have.

I love this tractor.

Bought an EX2900 TLB myself a few months back. I love the backhoe. Been using it to pull out concrete footers that were anchoring playground equipment - very impressive hydraulics. Been a little reluctant (and intimidated) to remove the frame-mounted backhoe before winter. Also bought clamp-on forks for the loader bucket, but haven't had a chance to use them yet. I want to remove the backhoe and use a box scraper, Woods mower deck, single bottom plow, etc. When I asked the dealer how the EX2900 stacked up against the competition, he told me that nothing in its class beats its hydraulics, but it doesn't have the weight some of the other machines have - which could be either a blessing or a curse, depending on what you bought the machine for. Been a little concerned about not having independent right and left brakes - something that was extremely handy with previous tractors.

I just re-installed the backhoe for the first time. It's a bit trickier than removing it, but once I lines it up, the backhoe picked it's self up and dropped into place.

I've been using the box blade a bit, but had to go & hook up the backhoe, as it turns out I'll have 10yds pit-run delivered right where I was storing the hoe. Oh well.

The forks have come in very handy, especially for bringing roofing and materials for a repair job I had.

I still haven't got the hang of the backhoe 'thumb'. I've used hydraulic ones before, but this one is not.

What....no pictures of the tractor/place?!
I'm quickly coming to a point where I need to remove my 'hoe from my 7532. (old version of the 3200) Just have to find my cheat sheet that shows where the hydraulic lines get switched around. Rest should be easy.
Sure do miss the Olympic Peninsula....haven't been there in a few years. Keep thinking about what to do with the property out there....sure looking forward to returning!

I've been studying the backhoe book, and I think that I can figure out how to drop and reinstall it. I think I am most leery of reinstalling all the 3-pt hitch components after I get the hoe off. The dealer just gave me a whole bunch of parts in a dirty cardboard box when I picked the tractor up, and it's a little intimidating. I love the tractor; only thing I hate is that, with the operator seat all the way back, the seat for the backhoe jams under the bolt for the slow moving vehicle sign. Now the backhoe seat frame is starting to rust where it has caught on the tractor seat. I also see that the spring for the hood catch is rusting. Pretty small items for sure, but didn't expect it with less than 25 hours on the machine.

Yeah, the 3-point was a bit tricky. Just a bunch of parts, no instructions. I hit a couple web sites until I found a few pictures & expanded-view drawings, until I got all the parts to work.
Taking off the backhoe sure expanded the possibilities with this new tractor! Just remember to follow instructions & release pressure in lines (drop buckets etc to ground).
I have a nice covered area for my tractor, so no rust yet... I does rain 10 months a year here, though...
p.s. pics to come, as I figure how to put them in.

I sure like the way those sub frames for the hoe, run along the side. Instead of having it on the bottom. I seen one at a dealer. It just makes alot of sense.

Well, trying to download my first pic on this site.
It's the first day with my EX2900, and it was still spotless clean!
Excuse me if the pic ain't there...

ps... I'm thinking about getting one of those fiberglass covers that attach to the rollbar. They are about $500 though. It would be nice to work in a drizzle or light rain, have a roof over me, and not get soaked. Do they work???
