Kubota B7500

I bought a B7500 new in 2003 and could not ask for better service from a tractor. Alot of people will look at it and say "You call that a tractor" but when they see what it can do they change there mind. They are small framed but they are little studs for their size. I have cleared several acres of land with mine, kept my grass mowed, driveway maintained, brushhogged for myself and others, cleared fence rows, pushed some minor snow and never had a seconds problem with it. Don't get me wrong it is limited by it's size of course but it will fool you on what it can do.

I also moved my rear wheels out on the axle for wider stance and loaded the tires for weight and ballst with the fel. Oh yeah, I didn't mention that I have used a rear tiller on it for years also and worked great. This would be great for food plots... It is also an easy tractor to haul, I have hualed mine everywhere on a 5X14 single axle trailer that was made for 4-wheelers. I never even tied it down, load it, lock brakes and go.

Hey Hanksride, thanks for the great info. Just curious, what size and make of brush hog do you pull behind the tractor?

I have only pulled a 4ft brush hog and not sure the make, it was a cheap Atwoods model.. The brush hog I have is sort of light and I kept bending the rear wheel on it from backing into things.. But the tractor never faltered with it.. I think a 5ft in good easy grass would be fine, but if you got into some heavy stuff it might be a little much for the tractor.

We have a 5' one that we sometimes use behind our B7500 (as seen here) and it does well in light grass, but you have to go SLOOOOOW in medium to heavy grass.
Edit: If you do not have a loader, you will need quite a bit of weight in the front. Our loader is just heavy enough to keep a decent amount of traction on the front wheels, but when I get moving with the mower in the air, the front end tends to bounce up a little

Forgot to mention, my land has some sloped areas and some flat. Anybody else care to chime in?

That is an excellent price and a very similiar machine to my B7510 kubota, if it is like the 7510 there is a pin on the rear rim you can pull that pin out and pull your rear tires out another couple of inches then tighten them up. This will help with better stabilty on slopes but always be careful and keep your buckett low to the ground on that machine. You will get to feel it out once you run it but they can get tippy in certain situations. If you feel panic put the bucket to the ground. That machine here in Ontario, canada at the kubota dealer would be listed at 10 grand easily with those low hours.

Not sure is the 7500 a 23 horse power? I think that is what my 7510 is a and I have a 4 foot rotary cutter, you can get away with a 5 footer in some cases but as said previous in heavy stuff you might not have the pto power you want.
However for normal grass cutting a 72 inch rear finishing mower should be fine.

Mowing food plots and keeping trails groomed. I can have the local framer blaze any new trails with his 90 hp John Deere. So it seems that 500 hours is considered a low hour machine...? :)

500 hrs is not that bad could be better but could be a lot worse like some of these turkeys with 2000 hrs on there machines and still wanting top dollar for it :confused2:

Ok all, I did it, bought a used Kubota B7500! Now I will be looking for a brush hog and tiller. Just saw a 5' king cutter for sale. Will the B7500 handle this? :)
I will post pictures later.
