Nice job! Only question is how do you reach the controls from the basket..
My wife is going to call him with instructions on the procedure of using a 'broom' to operate the controls from the safety of the bucket(or platform):thumbsup::laughing::laughing:

EDIT: And I ain't joking, my wife actually did that with our Massey GC2400.

Don87,
That's funny! Your wife must be a daring sort! Thanks.

I have thought about using one of those liquid crates and cutting the top off and the plastic container partway up.

Brew..All you need now is some material to go around your platform and a couple chairs. Then you would have a great mobile deer stand...

Maybe a removable roof for rain and the hot sun, too...

Redbug,

The liquid crate idea is a good one! I think you're on to something with that. Those things are available really cheap. I'd probably burn the plastic container, they put some nasty chemicals in those things.

Removable roof? Hmmmmm, another good idea. I think I'll run my next project by you before I start cutting and welding. Thanks.

Nice Job, I used just my bucket and i have a plywood bucket extension. To use the control one perrson I found I long stip of wood and placed a heavy plastic up to the end with duck tape.
I can reach town and move the lever to raise and lower. But its difficult to do the curle that way so i pre-plan the level of the bucket beforehand..

Chopped,

That's what my neighbor used to do. The thought scares me. I'd opt for a ladder strapped to the bucket for support. Good luck.. Get a spotter. Thanks.

The ones we get were used to hold juice concentrates so there is no nasty chemicals to contend.

dragonflyof1,

That is hilarious! I've had more fun with this thing than anything I've ever made and I haven't got to use it yet. A Poor-man's Pontoon boat!
