Do what I did when I got my tractor. Go to Tractor Supply and get a John Deere Tee shirt. They were on sale when I got mine. My wife kidded me about it, but I like the shirt. It goes nice with my tractor. I got some work gloves with the John Deere logo, too - the $8.00 ones. I keep them on the tractor for when I need to handle roots and rocks.

I've offered to give my Mrs. a tractor lesson, but she doesn't seem too anxious to take me up on it.

On the other hand, when that lady does get into doing something around the place, watch out! She's ruined one push lawn mower, and beat up the new one she bought, by trying to use them as bush hogs. I bought her a walk-behind string trimmer this year, and she has been attacking the bushes and ferns with a vengance! Maybe I really don't want to encourage her to use the tractor.
