RCO or COLDWATER?

well i will throw one out there, how about "P" for power steering?;)

Well, that could sure make sense! Another little thought that goes through my mind. Wonder why it is the engine plates have the model number in English when they were made in Japan and for Japan? There is some Japanse writing there also.

I wonder if one of the Yanmar guys had extra space if I could piggy back on with one of their shipments for a lower price. I think about 5K is about right that's about what a car would cost to ship to Japan.

HS

I doubt you will find anyone willing to do this now, If you do please pm me their info.

I've got a question although I might not get an answer;) are these tractors purchased as whole tractors and shipped as "Tractors" or is it as I have heard..... purchased as Parts and shipped as parts? and then reassemble to be sold here as whole tractors...

Why not, got a better idea? I'm listening.:)

now i'm curious. does the PS on your tractor have a seperate pump for it or does it utilise the hydraulic system for the 3PH to operate it? i suspect it has a seperate pump thus the "P" on the tag as it would have been fitted to the engine for fitting into the tractor.

I have seen vids on some exporter sites. The ones i see take the tires exhaust if like ours, the canopy/rops if it has it off. They label it and then either crate the tractor and set them in with the tires and stuff in the spaces or in cheaper cases just set the tractors on the tires and build a second teir to do it again for the second layer.

Same pump as hydraulics. Comes off pump, goes through a diverter valve. Factory all the way. Here is a drawing of it.

I have just recently dealt with Coldwater tractor during the purchase of an FEL. Ray and Henry were very helpfull, and always willing to answer my questions, very good communication, they called back when they said they would. Their price was great, the unit was very easy to install. I have been using it alot lately, only problem I have had is with the hydraulic lines abrading on part of the support frame. I encased them in a protective tube and all seems good. Scary sending cashiers check thru the mail for that much but they were true to their word and I had it when they said I would. Good luck, hope this helps!
