Actually, it is a big deal.
Firemen use blue lights(on personal vehicles). Police use red. Ambulances use red.
Don't ever get caught with a red flashing light on your vehicle in Pa. unless you have a badge.
And blue is skeptical also unless you are a fireman and responding to a fire (gonna be hard to explain a tractor responding to a fire call though).
You bring up good points, but you can use what ever light color you want when you are on private property. If I would ever find need to drive on the road, I'll probably remove all the lights (even the amber) to avoid any problems. I'll probably just use the red/blue light for show (see below) and never use it near the road...

No it won't...Everyone at the FD is always joking about me putting a blue light on the Kubota...I'll show them...
