Gods Country, you must be up in Gas Country! Did you buy the 2660? Any regrets? Got a link to the skid plate? Yeah, I know---Google is my friend but I just thought if you had a recommendation... Thanks.

These prices are still current , I believe , although freight may
have gone up ...........

PS I have spacers on the BX rears . You can't be too wide
in the rear end ; hold that cheese !

PPS B's can also take spaces ......

OrangeRidge, I did look at the B tractors and for my hillside, they seemed a little more top-heavy. The BX looks like it should have plenty of clearance and I had a guy bush hog a good part of my open areas already. I'm still between the AG tires (narrower up front for getting around in the in the woods in the snow) or the R4's (wider, for stability).

We actually went shopping with the intent of buying a B and went with the BX for the added stability and lower profile.

We had Bar tires on our BX2200 them Industrial on the BX2660, other than less front wheel squish on the Industrial tires we really can't tell much difference.

After some research on here (and a separate post), I decided that the AG tires are the way to go for me. If I had a bunch of mowing to do, I'd go industrial. Thanks!

Do your self a favor and check with Messicks, I have purchased four Kubota's in the past, never considered Messick's thinking they were to far away. This summer I purchased two Kubota's from them, they gave me the best price, included delivery and the service after the sale has been great. I wish tried them years ago.

Thanks but too far---130 miles one way vs. 5!:(

I guess, but it was about 150 miles for me each way. Only had to do it once. I just feel I work to hard for my money just to give it away, I saved close to 4K by shopping around, Plus I've got what I wanted not what another dealer had. My local dealer has "New" but weathered Kubota's and his prices are sky high. Pick up the phone and call if you don't want to make a trip.
I found the Tractor(L4740) and Zero Turn(ZD326P) I wanted then e mailed dealer's, called and if they were in the ball park I did a road trip, buying and looking are half of the fun.
