yup..here goes
I looked into the pull type, but it wouldnt work for my horse stalls.....cant drive into them and blow. its the way there set up. I was also worried cause a few times weve had 36" of snow overnight, and not sure what id do then.

That rig is the cat's a** .... errrrrr.. Meow!

Thanks! Those aren't too bad. Shipping should be lower for me as these are made in Ontario. I imagine these prices are before taxes?

Curious as to why you didn't get the hydraulic deflector? To be honest I have not had the need to adjust my manual one in years. Any idea how much it added to price?

On the Farm King Y series, the same bracket for them all, the bracket was $90, a cylinder and two 1/4" hoses from princess auto, maybe $250 max. We added it ourselves after we got the 1635. The bracket came from Connect.

My DK35 just has one rear remote hydraulic connection which I will use for the chute rotator. The dealer thought a rough price to add the 2nd remote would be $500. Then I would need to add the deflector cylinder. So I thought I'd wait and see how the manual deflector works.

If I decide I need a remote deflector I will also consider an electric linear activator such as these at Princess Auto:

What ever you do, if you have an enclosed cab...dont use a manual rotator. The shop where i purchased my cab tractor was busy replacing the rear window in a cab tractor cause the owner didn't think he needed a hyd rotator. Forgot to check before he raised it up and the arm shattered the rear glass. It cost WAY more than a rotator would have.

Here I am in my glory....I love the white stuff and those crisp February days when the sun begins to get high in the sky.

You most certainly are in your glory in that pic!!!

We didn't have too much snow last winter...just a few lighter (<6") accumulations...so, no outstanding action pics, I'm afraid.

But this was my first winter with the 4400 and chains, so here's a pic.

Boy you do look quite happy in that picture, I too just love going out on a snow filled quiet morning plowing and blowing snow.
