I just love the differences between Aussie/Brit slang and US slang.

The best line by an anonymous Aussie I've ever heard comparing our two countries is, "Thank God we got the criminals, because you (USA) got the Puritans."

Beer seems to work for me for tinnitus....a few helps me sleep but not enought to get a hangover ...a fine line !

A friend of mine says their 13 year old kid has it now...It's a horrible thing without being a child and having to deal with it !

Maybe, but he's Australian and that's still a pretty common term for a cigaret in the UK and it's former commonwealths.
Anyway, that slang actually comes from the word "faggot" which is a twig or branch...still in fairly common use.
