M6040HD w loader anything to look out for.

Triple R! Yes I will:thumbsup: My grapple are 2weeks away according to my seller. Then tractor and attachment gets on a trailer to the east-coast , then shipping to Sweden...:confused2: Well lets say 8 weeks from today before I have it...if Im lucky

I don't want to hijack this thread but just a quick question, if anyone knows why the M6040 is priced higher than the M7040. Looking at the specs I see no difference other than hp yet the 6040 cost more.

I've almost decided on the M7040 but there is the odd time I'm unsure as it seems like overkill for my 8 to 10 acres. I will operate them side by side again hopefull this coming weekend before making a final decision.

I doo have a toothbar on my L3400 and found it useful for digging. I don't dig much - probably 5 times over 6 years. I'm likely not going to order one until i have a need for it.

Thanks for this. Sounds like its better to use a backhoe or a 360 with it comes to digging:thumbsup: I dont think its overkill with an other tractor. You will find use for your M7040:thumbsup:

Priced them both two months ago and the 7040 was $1500 more if equipped the same.

Wait... there is a cheaper su version of the 7040, was that it?
