Is this a normal temperature while mowing?

I got the temp a bit higher today using the box blade, I was pushing it really hard though, getting stuck often and when not stuck the dirt was slowing the tractor down significantly.

The gauge was about 1/8 away from the red, the top radiator hose read 190, while the main engine block was at 214 or so. Are those normal temperatures at that level?

I know I'll have to have the radiator flushed and possibly even removed to be cleaned, I am more trying to focus on whether the thermostat is right or not at this point.

Good suggestions on here thus far...
Keep the screen and radiator clean and run at your specified RPM's...
Personally, your tractor may just run at this temp when pushing it hard...
I had a little 1700 Yanmar that ran the temps up like you have and it did fine...
She always ran on the warm side when pushed but never boiled over...
It had a thermo-syphon system so it was a much older cooling system that your Kubota but she still worked well...
I had to run at rated RPM's and keep the radiator clean...
I think that in many cases some of these smaller diesel tractors tend to run warm when pushed...
I don't know if this is an inherent design flaw or if the cooling system is just a little under sized for the units...
I am pretty **** about watching gauges like you but as long as the system does not boil over she is still running within specs, just warm...

I fought with the dealer about this problem on my bx24. I indicated to them that when I moved the battery from in front of the radiator the temp. dropped.

I finally just relocated the battery to the left side floor (I did make a box for it).

Problem solved.

it is possible that your sender unit is just a bit out of calibration and giving you a hotter then normal looking reading. (or the gauge reads hotter then normal) .....

So far, radiator screens, rpm, and coolant have been mentioned.
If this was a car or truck, surely one of the first suggestions would be to replace the thermostat. Obviously I'm not referring to the gauge on the bx dashboard. Do bx tractors have a replaceable thermostat? In cars and trucks, they frequently stick or fail causing over heating or under heating. Just a thought. It's a cheap thing to check.

This is exactly what my BX25 does but only when mowing in the tall grass. I have to stop about every 2hr and open the hood pull out the screen in front of the radiator. I flush off the screen, radiator and cab side screen by your knees... with a garden hose. I do this with the engine running. Cools down immediately and is good for a couple of hours.

Never been a big problem for me as I am also ready to be "cooled down" and dusted off after mowing for 2hr !
