I don't understand is there more to it then just tapping in a 3 rd control I'm looking to run a grapple

Your 4310 already has the valve, The "kit" you buy includes the control handle, hardlines, bracket for the QD's at the rear, QD's, and the hardware to mount everything. The kit's should still be available through JD.

Ebay has a kit for the 4310. $210 I think.

Different line location (yours by fender) and I don't know what else. The lines are steel tubing and would have to mount in the center. All my hydraulic stuff is in the center of the machine at the rear. He just had 3 kits for the "00" series and I know 2 of them are sold.

Call the dealer, ask for sales, not the parts department.

They are considered whole goods, whatever that means, and are sold through sales.

It's just a couple hard lines and a lever, it's a great option for sure.

Keep an eye on eBay. I bought a Power Beyond kit earlier this year and there's a fair number of items for the old 4x00 series tractors (I have a 4400) listed.
