Horsepower for NH 411 with multiplier

Need some advice - looking at buying a New Holland 411 with a multiplier - planning to use it with a John Deere 545D. Will I have enough horsepower to work the mower? I believe the PTO for the tractor is 540.

Not familar with your tractor is it similar to a 5425 Deere (65 h.p.) which on perfectly level ground and average hay could get by, tough crop conditions less than level conditions tractor is over matched. Like I said not familar with a 545D. For any hill conditions or thick cutting you need at least 75 P.T.O. horsepower not 75 engine horsepower.

re; Propwash. Upon checking your profile, you listed a JD 565D. I could not find that model listed either. I don't have a JD and be advised that I am only trying to help, but it seems that an error in the listing of the model number could be a possibility. Best of Luck.
