Tractor
B2920 TLB turfs and loaded ags
18ft Holmes 7k trailer, brakes on one axle
lift assist rear gates
frame mounted tie downs

the truck got Tembrens SES rear supports (big heavy duty bump stops that eliminate most rear sag) and a prodigy 2 controller. I bought a maxbrake controller but i did not receive the right master cylinder adapter.

I know I'll get a lecture because I didn't get an equipment trailer but this is what I wanted. The tractor will go to the mother in laws (2 miles down the road) once in a while and not much else other than going to pick up new toys etc. I bought the straps from Amazon and they work very well with the tie downs I had built in.

the lift gate springs are great. Very easy to close and to open I can just let it drop. I dont have any problem using the rear gates with one hand even when they are connected to make one big gate.

Looks good...and if it works for you and it is what you wanted...do not let the "lecturer's" get to you.

Now you will have neighbors and friends asking you to haul stuff for them

Nice.

I am like you and like the landscape type trailer. Mine is a 18' by 82" wide 7K trailer with brakes on one axle also. I have no mesh around the side, just the rail, and slide in ramps that slide in from the rear. I could not have a fold up gate.

Like said above, if it works for you then its perfect. I know mine is perfect for me.

Funny thing is about my trailer is my last trailer was a 25+5 25K Goose Neck. I hated the GN andn hated the dove tail even more. People wonder why I went from a 30' 25K trailer to a 18' 7K trailer all the time, but its what was needed.

Just saying, buy what you need. Not what others think you need.

Nice trailer. looks like it should function well for you. I would only suggest two things. one look at your tractor owners manual proper tie down points. I know its only a couple miles but you never know when your gonna have to slam on the brakes or swerve to miss a deer and I like to know that my load is completely secured. also might consider some type of overlay on the ramp sections as the expanded metal will stretch from the tractor weight over time and become unsightly. not that it will affect the usefulness of the trailer, just the appearance. Maybe Im just too picky. either way congrats it looks great.

That trailer is EXACTLY what I'm looking for...I need an 82" width ..Need a multi purpose unit like that. Having a difficult time with the place that sells units like that around here.

I also want the gate and no ramps, I don't like them due to the stuff that I load. Can't see where the tires are while loading/unloading and due to where I live, I can't get a spotter....I've used ramps more times than I care to admit, but loading and unloading a classic car gives me more pucker factor than I want.

If you don't mind, what did you give for that.

Why not just drive the tractor the 2-miles?

If the trailer suits your needs and is what you want, then you bought the right trailer.

Good looking trailer!

I personally would want brakes on both axles but it doesn't look like your hauling much so there shouldn't be any problem at all. You certainly got the right truck for the job. ;)

This trailer s 6'10" floor plus another 10" on each side for the fenders. The rear tires stick out further than the truck and on my winding road you have to watch it to make sure it is in the right spot. I don't know if it would work for a car because the ramp reinforcements aren't far enough apart for a larger car. I really like this type of trailer because you can throw a bunch of small stuff in and not worry about it

I paid 3300 (3500 with the gate lift, tie downs and spare), which I thought was highway robbery at first. After shopping around it seemed that all the trailers like this that aren't built as well, or no mesh sides were 2600-3000. All the used ones I found looked like junk or were 2200 - 2500 and didn't have the right ramps etc. I also drove to Front Royal which is about an hour away from DC to save $400. I bought it from Crimm's Trailer and they were great. I called a bunch of places that didn't know much about the trailers and I would rather deal with a pro. Everyone else had to check on the lift assist that Crimm's told me about. Its the best 140 I ve ever spent!

As far as tie downs I am using the rear axle and the front loader arms. I will check the book but the loader arm seems right. The straps I bought have loops with hooks so they can loop around axles etc.

from my own pics maybe the ramp reinforcements are far enough apart. I can measure them later if you want.
