Warning. It has to be listed and sold on E-bay to be genuine Buyer protection...yeap I had one of these Bargains in the past too....always with full warranty, sometimes claiming inherited and or by a menber of the service?sometimes FREE Shipping?

I like to keep the e-mails going with these guys for months Even set one a fake western union confermation number boy was he mad, e-mails started getted nasty after a while ask a million questions one at a time. Stuff like (does it have factory tool box) next e-mail ( how big is the tool box) next e-mail ( were is the tool box on this unit ) next e-mail ( do you do regular maintance on the tool box) ect

His reply to that one was "Tool box has been serviced as per Specs for unit"
I was looking at a jd 4720 loaded W/cab and lots of equip. for less than $10,000. He was posting form my county, "unit" was in Dallas.Texas, boxed up for shipping. We'll my wifes cousion is a FBI agent in Dallas. I graduated high school with him asked him to check it out. Sent this to the guy that I had a cousion that would look at it for me. Told him that he was a FBI agent.
things got a little sour after that. naw he did'nt get caught its not worth the trouble but if everyone bombbarted them with stupid e-mails they would evently quit trying but would also get smarter thus be harder to catch
The other one was a Jd 4710 lot of equip several miles away sent him at least 100 stupid e-mails wore him out to they don't post in my area very often

I always liked this... if everyone would send them a bogus checking account number or visa account number... with bad information, they deposit or credit their account, but 10 days later *they* find that the money isn't there. ...but I guess that would be getting down to their level.

Not only stooping to their level.....have to wonder if providing bogus acct numbers might even subject you/me to legal implications.

Related- Several years ago I received a check (unsolicited) that was supposedly for a foreign lottery that I won by chance or random internet drawing. WARNING!! There was a conus phone number provided that remained active for atleast a week or two. Point is...even a phone number is no guarantee of authenticity. The hope here was that I would depost check (intended to cover foreign to US currency conversion costs etc) and send them the difference....we all know what would have happened....
