I need 4 tires for my 3910. What type 14.9x28 do you guys recommend. I will use it for disk harrow and bush hog. Bias tires only please. Thanks

Ok thanks. I'm looking a firestone super traction 2 tires. These will be 14.9x28 rear. My question is what size front tire to use. Now I have 6.50x16 fronts but wondering if your suppose to go bigger on front when you go bigger on rear tires.

If you are going bigger on the front (will make it a little harder to get on in some cases) you may need to get a bigger/wider rim. We stepped up a size planning to get a FEL. After finding a backhoe for about the same money as a new FEL I wish I had the stock size steer tires now.

Do you have an owners manual? The recommended tire sizes are usually found there.

I like the Gensco airplane takeoffs.
You can get em in tri rib flat proof.
I got some for about 160 w new rims mounted delivered total

Does anyone know if leaving the 6.5x16's up front will be an issue going to 14.9x28 in rear? Not sure if it will look like a dragsters or not. By looking through my manual it looks like somer were shipped from the factory that way but not sure. The 7.5 front tire is about 1.5" taller I believe. But I have no plans for a FEL and like the tighter turning smaller tire.

Second question is now I'm really thinking of keeping the factory style tire (Goodyear long bar short bar). But if this tire offers alot less traction and performance I may just switch to Firestone super all traction tires. Longevity is not an issue for me as I only run it about 20 hours a year max. I do pull a 7 ft disk though so looking for decent traction. So do I loose alot by staying with original style tires?
