Nice work Paul ! That rub rail behind the motors must be to tow the water skiers !

I don't think you'll see to many water skiers back there on this one  it's there as a impact guard. Some new rules to tow this beast means that I had to remove that guard from the boat and make adjustments so that a wide load sign can be added to it along with a amber flashing rear light that's now part of the guard.

There also has to be four flags on the trailer, wide load sign on the pull truck and a separate amber light added to the truck other than the police style light bar it already had. More pics tomorrow. I'll have it completed then. Thanks. Paul

Wow they turned that into a project ! Just take the led's off your blower and stick em on the boat ! I looked at a rescue boat last month that had two off road tires on the back and one on the front :
Sealegs Patented Amphibious Technology
Took a ride around the parking lot, pretty slick piece of engineeering !

Wow. How cool is that! Never seen those before. I'm going to pass along the link to the Department Of Fisheries. Thanks for that

Ya it was a fair bit of work. I think I've used every tool in the shop to get it done. Everything was done using aluminum. Would have used stainless but my supplier said anything stainless would have to be ordered and would take three weeks to get it ( remember, I live on an island). The customer said not to tie up the vessel and agreed to go with aluminum.

I fabricated the box to house the LED strobe light out of aluminum. There was a little dirt in the aluminum but it worked out ok.

I did something similar back about 10 years ago, except I cut a longitudinal slot in a bolt, stuck the end in the slot and wrapped. I used them for kabobs on the grill.

Well I got that job completed. Everyone was happy. I did have to make one change though. They wanted the strobe light on the truck higher than the front emergency light so I had to make a base for that to happen. Got paid the extra time for it as well :D Looks like they need two more boats done so that's cool

Been doing vehicles for the last day or so then a guy comes in the shop with a chair ramp he needed repaired and asked if i could paint it so I'm just about done with that, here's a few pics to bore you all with :D

As always, beautiful work, no matter what it is being done. Seeing the Fisheries boat reminded me of a pursuit boat that the US drug enforcement guys had brought to an airshow in Florida, displayed alongside one of their radar picket planes and an attack helicopter- it wasn't inflatable, but aluminum, hull shape like an open Cigarette boat, powered by 4 humongous outboards, and it had 4 high tech suspension seats for the crew, obviously so they could strap in with 5 point harnesses and tear across the ocean at 70+ mph, which is all the speed they would admit to. Had a special machine gun mount in the front, with a another strap-in seat. All looked rather serious, and not something you'd mess with.
