Personally I would look at Tractor Supply. I have bought 2, 72" rear discharge finish mowers with the King Kutter name, one has over 8000 acres of mowing under its blades and still going strong. It was very reasonably priced and has a floating hitch which makes mowing easier yet. No major problems and i dont expect any. I changed the top pick chain and replaced it with a corner to corner pick.
2nd that! My 5' does as good a job as my cub cadet rider. Only issue I ever had was sharp turns in a wet yard, but that was all tractor weight, and not the mower.
I recently put Oregon high lift blades on it, and boy does that stir up the dust. I figure I can sharpen the medium lift blades and switch them out when the high lifts are dull. An observation I made about the land pride original blades is that they are thick and heavy. Very nice blades. They could chop up some sprouts if they are sharp.
I just bought a used tractor that came with a bush hog brand 480 finish mower. It is in really good shape but I don't need it due to the fact that I have no grass. I want to buy a loader and would let the mower go cheap.
