That gave me a great memory of a thread started by a user name of (removed).
One of his threads was about a hefty sister in law loading her in to a truck. I bet he wished he would have had a loader to use!

Although new to tractor ownership not new to hydraulics and mechanics. Needed to strip my roof and repair the roof deck, however, after two surgeries on my back not up to doing any kind of lifting. Tractor to the rescue. Made an oversized hopper to catch the roof shingles as they were stripped from the roof. Little cleanup and no nails on the ground. Dumped the whole load right in the dumpster. Next made an extension out of some two by fours to load the shingles and osb up to the roof. Eight foot long two by fours some scrap osb length of chain and I had a loader that could lift three hundred pounds and manage the sheets of osb. With a little help from my son and a few friends saved a bundle doing the roof and no complaints about the workmanship. See the attached pictures.

I use the FEL for all sorts of things. Haven't used it to hold a computer or as an ice bucket but might. Bought clamp on forks for the bucket to make it even more useful for picking up odd things.
My line for people that ask me what I use it for:
"It's like having four big strong friends that don't get tired and don't drink any beer".

There ya go!! My next purchase will be a grapple so it will be like having four big strong friends moving logs and brush around to a big burn pile.
