We are located about 10 miles south west of Concord and 10 miles north west of Manchester. Just high enough in elevation that it was all snow. Local TV station indicated that Dunbarton got 21 inches, but I believe in our immediate area is was slightly over 24 inches. Who really cares as it will melt off this coming week with temps in the 50's. Just heck having it come this early. I just had a shoulder operation and cannot use my right arm, actually can't do a darn thing for about 8 weeks so I am depending on my sons, wife and neighbors to do things for me. Not a normal thing for me to deal with.
Worse thing is I cannot hunt!Wayne
I live right on the border with NH, But you are still a ways from us. I am glad. Had an uncle in Goffstown. They flooded his little farm for a flood control project back in the 50's.
Not being able to hunt is a bigger problem than the snow. I used to hunt all the seasons in both VT and NH. Start in Sept with NH bow and end in Dec with NH rifle. Somewhere along the line it got to be to much and I stay on my own side of the river now.
Hope your sholder heals up in good shape.
